HONESDALE, PA. — Penn State Extension will offer “Home Food Preservation: Hands-On Jams and Jellies Training” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 10 at the Penn State Extension Wayne County office, 648 W Park, Suite E; the deadline for registering is Wednesday, July 5.
This in-person workshop will cover the science behind recommended methods for making and processing jam and jelly, while dispelling food preservation myths and unsafe practices.
Participants in this training will be actively participating in the canning process.
This course costs $25 and advanced registration is preferred.
