Local holiday events from Thursday, November 21 to Sunday, December 15
Hurleyville’s Gallery 222 is showing work from Project: Identity, a program for area teens that immersed them in digital photography and taught them how to create an exhibition, said gallery coordinator Ellyane Hutchinson. “We believe the arts are critical to the strength of a community,” she said. Here, visitors admire the students’ work. There are a myriad of small galleries and studios open to the public. Something is always happening at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg, the Catskill Arts Society in Livingston Manor, the Cooperage in Honesdale, the Art Factory in White Mills and the Everhart Museum in Scranton. Check www.sullivancatskills.com or the www.waynecountyartsalliance.org for more information.
