ONLINE — GiftedNYS Meet Ups aim to create an inclusive community of New Yorkers who know their gifted learners deserve equitable opportunities to excel.

If you are concerned about the academic, social, and emotional needs of your student, join fellow families and educators for GiftedNYS' May Meet Up.

It’ll be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. online.

Meet the facilitators

Samantha Gabrielli has over a decade of advocacy and K-12 classroom teaching experience in charter, public and independent education systems. She’s passionate about using curricular design and differentiation to create safe, joyous and challenging learning spaces for asynchronous learners.

Crystal Kaczmarek-Bogner has two teens with gifted education needs. Utilizing her extensive group facilitation experience, she established a district-level networking group for parents of gifted students which she led for three years. More recently, she has been advocating for equitable gifted education at the state level.

Gifted New York State, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization of parents, educators and professionals who have come together to support the needs of New York’s gifted and twice-exceptional (2E) student population and their families.
