WAYNE COUNTY, PA — Forty people from nine brand-new 4-H families attended the New 4-H Family orientation held at the Penn State Extension Office on March 24.
These new members learned the 4-H pledge and all about the 4-H program.
They decorated jars to collect slips of paper for their families to discuss how they used the four Hs (head, heart, hands and health) throughout their week.
4-H Teen Council members presented numerous project demonstrations, such as animal science, textiles, photography, etc., and talked about projects they have completed.
Welcome new 4-H members!
If you are interested in learning more about joining 4-H, please call the extension office Monday through Friday at 570/253-5970 ext. 4110.
