Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following case was addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court:
HONESDALE, PA- August 18, 2022
ANDREW MICHAEL ALTIZIO, age 51, of Pocono Lake, PA, was placed on probation for a period of six months for one count Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) and one count Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – 1st Offense (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $300, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. The incident occurred on October 21, 2020 in Berlin Township.
TYLER AUSTIN, age 25, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne Correctional Facility for a period of not less than three months nor more than 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine of $700, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, maintain employment while on supervision or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment, and resolve any outstanding warrants within 60 days. The incident occurred on October 13, 2021 in Honesdale Borough.
ERIC SCOTT GRANT JR, age 22, of Honesdale, PA, was resentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for the remainder of his sentence, which is November 21, 2023. The Defendant was found in violation of his probation when he received an administrative discharge on July 8 from a treatment facility.
MENERSON RAFAEL HIDALGO-PERALTA, age 24, of Scranton, PA, previously sentenced on April 22, 2021 to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for one month to 23 ½ months, was resentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for the remainder of his sentence, which is April 5, 2023. The defendant was found in violation of his parole when he was arrested on July 6.
GHEORGHE HOMINETI, age 47 of Lake Ariel, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 30 days nor more than six months for one count Driving Under the Influence (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay the mandatory minimum fine of $750, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and maintain employment while on parole or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred on Feb.16, in Paupack Township.
LIAM MICHAEL KASE, age 19, of Honesdale, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program for a period of six months related to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was also ordered to pay all costs, preform 20 hours of community service, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 90 days. The incident occurred on April 9, in Texas Township.
KILE KERBER, age 19, of Prompton, PA, was placed on six months probation for one count Unlawful Killing/Taking of Big Game (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine of $300, and pay restitution in the amount of $1,945.96. The incident occurred between November 5, 2021 and November 6, 2021 in Damascus Township.
MUSLIJA LJUBANOVIC, age 22, of Staten Island, NY, placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program for a period of six months related to Possess Small Amount Marijuana. He was also ordered to pay all costs, preform 20 hours of community service, and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. The incident occurred on Jan. 21, in Salem Township.
LINDA REESER, age 40, of Tobyhanna, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 24 months for one count of Access Device Fraud (M2). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $2,993.96, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and maintain employment or provide documentation from a doctor precluding her from employment. The incident occurred between October 9, 2018 and October 29, 2018 in Lehigh Township.
DOMINICK PAUL SCARNATO, age 45, of Olyphant, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program for a period of six months related to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was also ordered to pay all costs, preform 20 hours of community service, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 60 days. The incident occurred on May 28, in Paupack Township.
RANE CLAIRE SNYDER, age 40, of Lake Como, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 18 months for two counts Simple Assault (M2). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and attend and complete an anger management course. The incident occurred on Jan. 25, in Preston Township.
CHRISTEN ANN WRIGHTER, age 38, of Narrowsburg, NY, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count Retail Theft – Take Merchandise (M2). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and maintain employment while on probation or provide documentation from a doctor precluding her from employment. The incident occurred on December 10, 2021 in Texas Township.
RAHMEL D. PARHAM, age 38, of Honesdale, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.
