As homeowners in Narrowsburg for over 20 years, and full-time residents since 2019, my husband and I have committed our hearts and our resources to this community. I feel the call of duty to step up now to fill the shoes of one of our most active Board members, and the only remaining woman on the Board, Jane Luchsinger, who retires this year. I hope to be a reasonable voice on the Board and one who can work to achieve consensus. I pledge to respect all voices in the community.

Recently one of the biggest issues in the community has been the construction of a pavilion in the playground on the Flats. As originally designed, the pavilion was too expensive, too large and out of context with the area. As a Board member, I would work to find alternatives that satisfy the concerns of most residents.

Kevin E. Markham (R)(C)

The spirit of the Town of Tusten is its people. As one of your neighbors for more than 50 years, I humbly ask for your trust and support as your town council member. Giving back and working together make our community better. For 35 years, I owned several small businesses. If elected, I will place your needs first. Collaboration allows us to develop meaningful solutions to challenges and innovative approaches for new opportunities. Teamwork knows no party line. We have the right to live in a town where we all feel safe, happy and proud. Every dollar holds great value—and burden—to every taxpayer. Fiscal responsibility is critical. The seniors who built this town’s history deserve to enjoy the comfortable, affordable lives they have earned. Just as they shaped the present day, we must focus on a bright future for the next generation.

I will uphold the honor of serving you every day. If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.
