DELAWARE WATER GAP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police Troop N, Stroudsburg barracks, is seeking the public’s assistance in an unsolved homicide investigation.
The victim, 46-year-old Edward (Eddie) James Jourbert, was discovered on Nov. 28, 1981, at his place of employment at the Bottom of the Fox Tavern in Delaware Water Gap, Monroe County, PA. Joubert left the crowded bar at around 5 p.m. to retrieve firewood behind the establishment and was discovered murdered with an ax later that night.
