CALLICOON, NY — There will be a free event on Friday, November 3 at 7 p.m. at the Delaware Youth Center providing information about breast and prostate cancer. It is part of the Breast and Prostate Cancer Eduation (BPCE) Program at Catskill Regional Medical Center. The free event is supported with funds from Health Research, Inc. and the New York State Department of Health. It helps women better understand the need for regular breast cancer screening, how to access screening if appropriate, and how to educate men about prostate cancer and encourage them to speak to their health care provider. The event will be led by Paul Geer and Arianna Martinez, educators for the BPCE Program. Free refreshments will be served after the event. For more information call Vincent G. Alukonisat 845/887-5901 or email DlwrYoungHearts@aol.com.
