MONTICELLO, NY — Two school resource officers (SROs) from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office graduated from DARE instructor school on Friday, January 24. The intensive two-week instructor school was held at the NYS Fire Training Academy, in Montour Falls, NY. Sheriff Mike Schiff said that the DARE and School Resource Officer programs play an important role in educating our children about bullying, cyber safety, alcohol and drug abuse. Deputy Tyler Terbush is assigned to the Tri-Valley School District and Deputy Tia Frunzi is assigned to Sullivan West.
