‘Rusalka:’ the Met live in HD

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD presents “Rusalka” on Saturday, February 25 in SUNY Sullivan’s Seelig Theater starting at 12:55 p.m. Kristine Opolais stars in the role that helped launch her international career, the mythical Rusalka, who sings the haunting “Song to the Moon.” Mary Zimmerman brings her wondrous theatrical imagination to Dvořák’s fairytale of love and longing, rejection and redemption. Brandon Jovanovich, Jamie Barton, Katarina Dalayman and Eric Owens complete the all-star cast, and Mark Elder conducts.


Tickets cost $20 (adults) and $10 (children 13 and under and students with valid ID). To order tickets, call the SUNY Sullivan Box Office at 845/434-5750, ext. 4472, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays.
