MILFORD, PA — Registration is now open for GAIT’s winter sessions for therapeutic riding. Classes involve 30 minutes per week of riding for four weeks—Saturdays only.
The next round of four classes begins on Saturday, February 3.
Lessons are taught by PATH International-certified therapeutic riding instructors (CTRI). They teach basic riding skills to participants with the assistance of trained volunteers. The benefits of riding include sensory integration, core strengthening and improved balance and centering.
Program applications must also be completed prior to participation and must be renewed each year.
To learn more, including the dates of future classes and about volunteer opportunities, call 570/409-1140 or email info@gaittrc.org.
