The second annual Youth Poetry Festival held at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, presented in conjunction with the Sullivan County PK-12 Art Show, showcased the superb photography, drawings, paintings, sculptures, digital art and even some film and animation created by students from the county’s eight districts and Sullivan BOCES.
"At times it feels as if our school hallways will never be filled with the same laughter and joy they once had. Loss and grief have left both adults and students with feelings of fear and worry. Today, those feelings were almost invisible; hope filled the air, even if it was just for the moment. I was overwhelmed, inspired, and most importantly, reminded of why I do what I do." - Dana Taylor, Executive Director for Special Summer and After-School Programs, Monticello CSD
