Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak:

Jennifer Lynn Corrao, age 42, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $800 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Resisting Arrest.  The state police responded to Wild Meadow Drive to investigate Corrao who had been involved in a one vehicle crash on February 22, 2022.  The trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage when speaking with Corrao.  A preliminary breath test confirmed the presence of alcohol on her breath.  Corrao admitted to drinking prior to the accident.  While under arrest, Corrao slipped out of her handcuffs several times.  Corrao refused to submit to a chemical breath test. 

Kyshame Eugene Jeanette, age 43, of New Haven, CT, was sentenced to one month to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,200 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and the Summary Offense of Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended or Revoked.  Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped Jeanette along Route 6 & 209 in Westfall Township on December 13, 2020, for failing to stop at a stop sign.  When contact was made with Jeanette, the deputies detected the smell of Marihuana and observed him to have slurred speech.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a blood test confirmed the presence of THC and Phencyclidine in his blood.  Jeanette was found to be driving on a suspended license. 

Christopher Michael Leonardi, age 22, of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  The state police stopped Leonardi on November 12, 2021, when he was observed operating a vehicle with a registration light out while traveling along SR590 in Lackawaxen Township.  Leonardi was observed to have bloodshot, glassy eyes and emanating the smell of an alcoholic beverage.  Leonardi admitted to drinking prior to driving.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol level of .165%.

Kaysha N. Charles, age 32, of Bronx, NY, was sentenced to 30 months of probation and fined $1,100 for the crimes of Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief.  During a domestic dispute at a residence in Lehman Township, Charles threatened an individual in an aggressive manner while holding a knife.  Charles struck another individual with a vehicle causing injury.  Charles scratched two vehicles and slashed the tires causing over $1,000 in damage on September 30, 2018.

Lance Ulises Antonio Munoz, age 23, of Matamoras, PA, was sentenced to 2 years of probation and fined $200 for the crime of Criminal Mischief.  Munoz vandalized the inside of a residence in Matamoras on November 7, 2021, causing an excess of $5,000 in damage.

Amanda Elleanor Daniels, age 25, of Scranton, PA, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  The state police responded to I-84 in Dingman Township on February 16, 2021, where Daniels had crashed into a snowbank.  Daniels exhibited signs of impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .189%.

Patricia Christie Greenlaw, age 27, of Sparta, NJ, was sentenced to 90 days to five years in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,500 and had her driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  The state police were dispatched to Basswood Drive in Blooming Grove Township to assist public safety with the traffic stop of Greenlaw for speeding.  When contact was made with Greenlaw, the smell of Marihuana and alcohol was detected and Greenlaw was observed to have bloodshot, watery eyes.  Greenlaw admitted to ingesting Alcohol, Suboxone and Adderall.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a blood test confirmed the presence of THC in Greenlaw’s blood.

Gregory F. Giblin, age 72, of Shohola, PA, was sentenced to 14 months to five years in a state correctional facility and fined $1,000 for the crime of Sex Abuse of Children.   Between June 11, 2019, and October 18, 2019, Giblin was found to be in possession of images, pictures and videos of naked minor females engaging in sexual poses and activities on a hard drive located at his residence in Shohola.

Anthony Aldo Armanini, age 26, of Jefferson Township, PA, was sentenced to 90 days to five years in the Pike County Jail, fined $2,800 and had his driver’s license suspended for 30 months for the crimes of Altered, Forged or Counterfeit Documents and Plates, Driving Under the Influence and the Summary Offense of Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.  Armanini was stopped by the state police for an altered inspection observed while traveling along Milford Road in Lehman Township on November 15, 2021.  While speaking with Armanini, the trooper detected the smell of Marihuana.  Armanini admitted to smoking earlier.  Armanini was observed to have red eyes and dilated pupils.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment.  Armanini refused to submit to a blood test. 

Robert D. O’Connor, age 34, of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to 135 days to 348 days in the Pike County Jail and fined $1,175 for the crimes of Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the Summary Offenses of Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended or Revoked, Required Financial Responsibility and Registration Required.  The state police stopped O’Connor on October 21, 2020, after observing him driving with expired insurance.  A computer check revealed that O’Connor was driving on a suspended license and driving an unregistered vehicle. A probable cause search revealed four glass pipes used for the ingestion of controlled substances.  The state police attempted to contact O’Connor at a residence in Shohola Township on August 26, 2021, regarding a complaint.  O’Connor fled to the second floor of the residence to avoid apprehension.

Kenneth P. Way, age 36, of Newburgh, NY, was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $300 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.   The state police were dispatched to Pine Ridge Drive and Fawn Lane in Lehman Township where Way’s vehicle was on fire on October 1, 2021.  The trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage while speaking with Way.  Field Sobriety Tests demonstrated numerous signs of impairment.  A breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .127%. 

Daniel John Swanson, age 38, of Port Jervis, NY, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Terroristic Threats.   On December 15, 2019, during a choir practice at a church in Milford Borough, Swanson became verbally abusive and threatened to bomb the church.

Justin Little, age 33, of Wayne, NJ, was sentenced to 3 years of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Theft by Deception.  On or about 2016, through June 5, 2018, Little, in his capacity of manager at a business in Matamoras, falsified receipts of customers to obtain U.S. currency which was the property of the business owners.   

Samantha Cross Ulrich, age 38, of Lewisburg, PA, was sentenced to 6 months of probation, fined $300 and a driver’s license suspension to be determined by PennDOT, for the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance.  Ulrich was pulled over by the state police for weaving across her lane of travel and speeding while traveling along SR 739 in Delaware Township on November 14, 2021.  Ulrich admitted to having just left a bar.  The trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage and observed her to have bloodshot, glossy, watery eyes.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .088%.

Christina Webb, age 59, of Greentown, PA, was sentenced to three years to 21 years in a state correctional facility, fined $13,500 and a driver’s license suspension to be determined by PennDOT, for 3 counts of Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked and the Summary Charge of Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.  On September 23, 2020, the state police responded to SR 6 in Dingman Township where Webb was involved in a two-vehicle crash.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment.  Webb admitted to ingesting Lexapro.  Webb refused to submit to a blood test.  The state police stopped Webb for erratic driving along SR 390 in Greene Township on May 28, 2021.  Webb exhibited markers of intoxication.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment.  Webb refused a chemical test. Webb was found to be driving on a suspended license.  The state police were dispatched to SR 390 in Greene Township where Webb had struck mailboxes and a utility pole with her vehicle on April 30, 2021.  When contact was made with Webb, she was observed to have poor balance, slurred speech and glossy eyes.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a blood test confirmed the presence of Buprenorphine, Norbuprenorphine and Alprazolam.  Webb was found to be driving on a suspended license. 

David C. Adelar, age 27, of East Stroudsburg, PA, was sentenced to one year to seven years in a state correctional facility, fined $2,500 and had his license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  Adelar was stopped by the state police for traveling at an unsafe speed along SR 402 in Palmyra Township on July 5, 2021.  When contact was made with Adelar, the trooper observed him to have bloodshot, watery eyes and detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage.  Adelar admitted drinking the evening before.  Field Sobriety Tests validated clues of impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .201%.

John Everett Bensley, age 58, Dingmans Ferry, PA, was sentenced to five days to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  The state police were dispatched to SR 6 in Milford Township where Bensley had flipped his vehicle onto its roof on November 17, 2020.  The trooper detected the smell of alcoholic beverage.  Bensley admitted to drinking prior to driving.  Bensley was observed to have slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.  A breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .089%.

Shawn M. Gibbons, age 58, of Pompton Lakes, NJ, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  The state police were dispatched to the exit ramp of I-84 in Blooming Grove Township where Gibbons was driving erratically prior to crashing.  While speaking with Gibbons, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage.  Gibbons admitted drinking earlier.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .206%.

Herman Y. Brown, age 57, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $300 for the crime of Unsworn Falsification to Authorities.  On December 29, 2021, Brown submitted to the Pike County Sheriff’s Department an application for a Pennsylvania License to Carry a Firearm. Brown failed to disclose on the application that he had plead guilty on May 17, 1995, to Conspiracy to Commit Mail Fraud and Interstate Transportation of Stolen Vehicles in the United States District Court, Southern District of NY.  

Julia M. Kent, age 34, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $575 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and the Summary Offense of Registration and Certificate of Title Required.  The state police were dispatched to Sawkill Road in Dingman Township where Kent crashed her vehicle on November 6, 2021.  In speaking with Kent, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage and observed her to have bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech.  Kent admitted to drinking prior to driving.  Kent refused to participate in Field Sobriety Tests or a breath test.  Kent’s vehicle was not registered.

Louis Joseph Mazzariello, age 64, of Matamoras, PA, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  Eastern Pike Regional Police were dispatched to Rivers Edge Drive in Westfall Township on December 23, 2021, where Mazzariello had struck an unoccupied vehicle with his car.  When speaking with Mazzariello, the officer detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage, and observed him to have slurred speech.  Mazzariello admitted to drinking prior to the accident.  Mazzariello refused to submit to any testing.  

Christopher J. Merchant, age 35, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Retail Theft.  Merchant took in excess of $150.00 of merchandise from a business in Blooming Grove Township without paying for it between November 12, 2021, through February 3, 2022.

Nicole Lynn Merchant, age 36, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Retail Theft.  Merchant took in excess of $150 in merchandise without paying for it between November 12, 2021, and February 3, 2022, from a business located in Blooming Grove Township.

Filip Jan Wilkos, age 41, of Brooklyn, NY, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  The state police responded to SR 739 in Delaware Township where Wilkos was involved in a one-vehicle crash on December 10, 2021.  When contact was made with Wilkos, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected.  Wilkos admitted to drinking prior to the crash.  Wilkos exhibited slow, slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content .203%.

Kevin Sanford, age 34, presently housed in the Pike County Jail, was sentenced to two months to six months to run consecutive to a prior sentence, in a state correctional facility and fined $500 for the crime of Institutional Vandalism.  While in the Pike County Sheriff’s Department holding cell on February 17, 2022, Sanford used his handcuffs to cause damage to the wall of the cell.

Andrew Jacob Mittelmark, age 27, Shohola, PA, was sentenced to six months of probation, a fine of $825 and a driver’s license suspension of six months for the crime of Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property and the Summary Offenses of Carless Driving, Operation of Vehicle without Inspection, Prohibition on Expenditure for Emission Inspection Program.  The state police were dispatched to SR 434 where Mittelmark had attempted to pass another vehicle, struck the vehicle and caused it to rollover.  Mittelmark then fled the scene.  Mittelmark turned himself in on November 2, 2021.  Mittelmark was found to be driving an uninspected vehicle. 

Michael Joseph Hertig, age 65, of Shohola, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Indecent Exposure.  On September 26, 2021, at a business in Westfall Township, Hertig urinated and exposed his genitals to patrons of the business. 

Anthony Howard Crisano, age 54, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to 22 months to 60 months in a state correctional facility and fined $500 for the crime of Possession with Intent to Manufacture o Deliver a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance. The state police executed a search warrant at a residence in Lehman Township where Crisano was found in possession of Heroin/Fentanyl on October 6, 2021. 

Richard Robert Degiacomo, age 34, of Greentown, PA, was sentenced to 102 days to one year in the Pike County Jail and fined $300 for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The state police observed Degiacomo acting in a suspicious manner at a gas station parking lot in Greene Township on August 3, 2020.  A consent to search Degiacomo’s vehicle revealed Methamphetamine. 

Dalila Hernandez, age 52, of Wurtsboro, NY, was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $500 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  Hernandez was stopped along East Harford Street in Milford Borough by the Milford Police.  An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected, and Hernandez admitted to drinking prior to the stop.  Field Sobriety Tests were conducted which showed impairment and a blood test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .123%.

Charles W. Baumgardner, age 37, of Port Jervis, NY, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  Eastern Pike Regional Police responded to Pennsylvania Avenue in Matamoras on September 21, 2021, where Baumgardner drove his vehicle into a parked car.  When speaking with Baumgardner, the officer detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage.  Baumgardner admitted to drinking prior to driving and ingesting Clonazepam.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment.  Baumgardner refused to submit to a breath test.
