NORTHEAST PA — The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) chapter in Northeast PA has scheduled support groups for people living with mental illness as well as family, friends and caregivers.

Carbondale

First and third Tuesdays of the month: Momma Bears Support Group for individuals affected by pre- and post-natal mental health struggles, held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Carbondale Library in the community room.

Hawley and online

Second Sunday of the month: Connections Recovery support group, for individuals living with mental illness. Meeting held in person at 4 p.m. at Grandma Goldsachs Bakery, 1007 Hemlock Farms Rd.; also held on Zoom. Call 570/342-1047 for link.

Second and fourth Thursdays of the month: Family support group for family, friends and caregivers of individuals living with mental illness. Meeting held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Grandma Goldsachs Bakery and on Zoom. Call 570/342-1047 for link.

First and third Wednesdays of the month: Mental Health Recovery Support Group, Psych Rehab. Meeting held from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at 910 Church St.

Lakeville

First and third Thursdays: Family support group for family, friends and caregivers of individuals living with mental illness. Meeting held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lakeville Firehouse, 10 Daniels Rd.
