MONTICELLO, NY — Members of the Monticello Police Department arrested Nigdrew L. Reynolds, age 29, of Monticello on Friday, December 2. Reynolds was charged with the felony of Robbery in the 1st degree. Reynolds was arrested as a result of an investigation of a Robbery of the Citgo Convenience store located at 68 Pleasant Street in the Village of Monticello.
On November 21, at 10:45 p.m., Reynolds entered the store at closing time. Reynolds handed a bag to a female clerk and demanded that she fill the bag with packages of CBD GUMMIES, which were located behind the counter. Reynolds then fled the store with the bag filled with packages of CBD GUMMIES valued at approximately $1300.
Reynolds was arrested at the Sullivan County Courthouse on Friday by Monticello Police after he had appeared on an unrelated matter. Reynolds was arraigned before Village of Monticello Associate Justice Leo Glass and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending further court action.
The filing of an accusatory instrument is merely an accusation and every person arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
