MILANVILLE, PA — Milanville Montessori will be accepting toddlers from 18 months to three years old when it opens later this year. The school’s target launch date is September 3.

The historic J. Howard Beach House in Damascus Township will house Milanville Montessori’s classrooms. The director, Lori Zambarano, has 25 years of experience in early childhood teaching and administration. She holds Montessori early childhood certification, a masters in education, and Pennsylvania instructional credentials.

Zambarano and her husband, Randy Harris, are longtime area residents. They are converting four ground-floor rooms into uniquely designed spaces to nurture toddlers’ physical, cognitive and social growth.

Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori method, said, “The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.”

Interested families should reach out to Zambarano at milanvillemontessori@gmail.com.
