DINGMANS FERRY, PA — Want to create holiday decorations using only natural materials? The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will hold a workshop on Saturday, December 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the center.
PEEC will provide evergreen boughs and other materials needed to make wreaths, swags and table décor.
You can also bring your own supplies and decorations, and PEEC provides music and light refreshments.

On Sunday, December 10, kids can put on lab coats and conduct some science experiments, making oobleck and slime and more.
It takes place from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the center, and the cost is $5 per person. Call 570/828-2319 to register.
