NARROWSBURG, NY — Artist and musician Seth Faergolzia will combine sound and abstract painting live at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m.
Calling him a “freak-folk, avant-rock innovator,” the DVAA describes the show as layered “improvised vocals, looping and treating them with the precision of a DJ, all while crafting a live painting. . . a multitasking masterpiece, akin to an octopus employing its many arms to create art.”
Faergolzia has a body of work that exceeds 20 albums, plus appearances in over 20 countries with the likes of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Animal Collective and Dufus.
The show is free.
The event will take place in the Krause Recital Hall on DVAA’s second floor. The arts alliance is located at 37 Main St.
