HONESDALE, PA —Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announces the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court:

KEVIN RONALD DAVIS, age 43, Tobyhanna, PA, was sentenced to 9 months probation for one count of Simple Assault (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, complete an anger management program, and relinquish any firearm and ammunition to law enforcement within 24 hours. The incident occurred on may 19, 2021 in Lehigh Township.

EARL NORMAN FAATZ JR, age 48, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 6 months nor more than 23 ½ months for one count of Altered, Forged or Counterfeit Documents and Plate (M1), one count Required Financial Responsibility (S), one count Habitual Offenders (M2), one count Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended/Revoked (M3), one count Retail Theft (S). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $2,825, pay restitution in the amount of $11, comply with the drug and alcohol evaluation and any recommendations for treatment, and continue with mental health treatment. The incidents occurred on August 19, 2020 in Honesdale Borough and November 3, 2020 in Lebanon Township.

DUSTIN LYLE HIGHHOUSE, age 27, of Damascus, PA, was sentenced to 24 months probation with 90 days House Arrest through the SCRAM program for one count of DUI – Controlled Substance – Fentanyl/Morphine (M1). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $1,500, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, continue with mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and maintain employment. The incident occurred on April 26, 2021 in Honesdale Borough.

PAULETTE G. JOHNSON, age 56, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (M1). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and pay restitution in the amount of $389.44. The incident occurred between December 10, 2020 and December 29, 2020 in Texas Township.

JONATHAN W. MICHAUD, age 34, of Beach Lake, PA, was sentenced to a $300 fine for two counts of Vehicle without Official Certificate of Inspection (S). The incidents occurred between March 16, 2020 and March 20, 2020 in Honesdale Borough.

JOSEPH NAGY, age 39, of Center Valley, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 1 month nor more than 12 months for one count of Criminal Trespass (F3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $2,350, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and obtain employment within 60 days of parole or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred on August 17, 2020 in Dreher Township.

CHRISTOPHER G. RICHARD, age 34, of Coventry R.I., was sentenced to undergo incarceration in a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 12 months nor more than 36 months for one count of Receiving Stolen Property (M1). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution. The incident occurred between June 3, 2021 and June 4, 2021 in Berlin Township.

AKIVA B. SEQUOYAH, age 18, of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 12 months nor more than 36 months for one count of Robbery-With Bodily Injury or Threat (F2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $246, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, continue with high school education or pursue a GED, and if not enrolled in high school, obtain employment within 60 days of parole. The incident occurred on November 6, 2020 in Hawley Borough.

APRIL LYNN SMITH, age 22, of Port Jervis NY, was ordered to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 60 days nor more than 12 months for one count of Harassment Communicate Lewd Threatening etc. Language (M3), one count of Disorderly Conduct-Obscene Language/Gesture (M3), one count of Defiant Trespass-Actual Communication To (M3), False Identification to Law Enforcement Authorities (M3), and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment and must not enter the Asian Buffett while on supervision. The incidents occurred on January 14, 2021 in Honesdale Borough and January 23, 2021 in Texas Township.

JAMIE L. STICKELMYER, age 36, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to 24 months probation with 90 days House Arrest through the SCRAM program. She was also ordered to pay the costs or prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $2,500, complete 100 hours of community service, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with her assessment and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. The incident occurred on March 6, 2021 in Honesdale Borough.

JASON SCOTT DEMUYSERE, age 51, of Hawley, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for Failure to appear in court.

DENISE HOUSHOWER, age 49, of Lancaster, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court.

BRYAN HAINES, age 38, of Honesdale, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court.

JUSTIN LEE, age 20, of Lake Ariel, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear.

BRIAN KEITH LENT, age 41, of Simpson, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court.

DANIEL MATTHEW LYONS, age 33, of Hawley, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court.

DANIEL E. MARTIN, age 46, of Carbondale, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court.
