MONTICELLO, NY — The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association and the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce are marking the Hampton Inn’s one-year anniversary with a celebration and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, June 20 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The ribbon cutting takes place at 3:30 p.m., and will be followed by refreshments and tours of the Hampton Inn. The hotel is located at 29 Golden Ridge Rd.

The 92-room Hampton Inn Monticello opened on June 17, 2022, and has a heated indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a meeting room. It joins the Town of Thompson’s growing business corridor, located right off Route 17.

“The Hampton Inn offers our visitors another great option for staying in the Sullivan Catskills, with a convenient and comfortable location,” said Roberta Byron-Lockwood, president/CEO of the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association. “The rooms and the grounds are beautiful and can accommodate everyone from the solo traveler to groups.”

“We are so pleased that the Hampton Inn has joined our roster of Sullivan County businesses,” said Jaime Schmeiser, president/CEO of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce. “Monticello and the Town of Thompson are continuing to grow and see great success.”

For more information about the ribbon cutting, call the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce at 845/791-4200 or email office@catskills.com.
