REGION — United Health Services Delaware Valley Hospital is again the sponsor of the Cutest Baby Contest at the Delaware County Fair. 

The deadline to submit photos of your adorable baby has been extended to Friday, July 21.

This year, we are going to be able to put all the baby photos online on the UHS website (nyuhs.org). This will give distant friends and relatives the opportunity to see their favorite little one’s photo as well as all the other contestants.

Therefore, by submitting your child’s photo, you will automatically be giving us permission to put the photo online.

We are hoping to be able to collect votes online as well. If we are successful, we will put an announcement on Facebook, and will email anyone who has sent in a photo to let them know.   

Votes will remain at $0.50 a vote; however, if you choose to vote online we will require a minimum $5 donation (10 votes) to help offset the costs associated with online donation collection.  Online donations will be shut off on Thursday, August 10, and from then through the fair, only in-person donations made at the Delaware County Fair will be added to each baby’s total votes. 

The following rules apply:

The child must be two years of age or younger as of Tuesday, August 1. 

Email a current photo of your child. Each child will be assigned a number, and that is how they will be identified on the website and at the fair. 

The child's name, date of birth, parent’s name, address and phone number must be included in your email. 

You need to include the following statement in your email: “I give UHS Delaware Valley Hospital permission to use my child’s photo on social media, the UHS website, and in print for flyers.” Photos must be submitted no later than Friday, July 21, by emailing them to dotti.kruppo@nyuhs.org.

Prizes are: 

1st place: $100 savings account

2nd place: $50 savings account

3rd place: $25 savings account

The account can be opened at any of Wayne Bank’s offices in Delaware and Sullivan County: Walton, Franklin, Andes, Roxbury or Stamford in Delaware County, or Roscoe, Callicoon, Liberty, Monticello, or Wurtsboro in Sullivan County.
