ONLINE — What does the future look like for the sustainability movement? This month’s "Community Conversation" will explore the possibilities.
Join SUNY Sullivan Associate Professor and Sustainability Coordinator Larry Reeger for a free workshop about the way forward at 4 p.m. on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, on Zoom.
SUNY Sullivan presents the program, featuring conversations with SUNY Sullivan Professors and community members on timely, compelling topics.
Reeger has a unique perspective: he’s a blue-collar professional. His extended family has worked in coal mines and owns a farm with natural gas wells. Reeger himself is a journeyman machinist; he has worked as an engineer and technical trainer in advanced manufacturing and as a wind technician at Waymart Wind Farm.
Community Conversations are offered free of charge, open to anyone, anywhere, and can be accessed through Zoom on your computer or phone. Participants will need to register to confirm their space. An email invitation from the college with a Zoom link will be sent to participants two hours prior to the event.
Register at www.sunysullivan.edu/community-conversations.
