MONTICELLO, NY — Two deputy sheriffs from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Youth Division graduated from an intensive two-week DARE instructor school in Montour Falls, NY, on Friday, March 3. Deputy Roy Rogers serves as a school resource officer (SRO) in the Monticello school district, and Deputy Tim Kautz is a school resource officer assigned to Sullivan West. In addition to their SRO duties, the two deputies will now be assigned to teach the DARE program in their respective schools.
