Dale D. Ellis, 74, of Neversink, NY, passed away December 29, 2023 at home. Dale was born May 4, 1949 in Newburgh, NY. Visitation will take place Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Rte. 52 in Woodbourne, NY. Graveside services follow at New Prospect Cemetery in Pine Bush, NY.
Michael Lecce, 61, of Greentown, PA, passed away January 5, 2024 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, PA. Michael was born June 16, 1962 in Far Rockaway, NY. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Teeters’ Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St. in Hawley, PA. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Janet M. Litts, 92, of Bloomingburg, NY, passed away January 2, 2024 at the Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Montgomery, NY. Janet was born August 23, 1931 in Deposit, NY. A funeral service was held January 5 at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home in Wurtsboro, NY. Burial followed at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery in Bloomingburg.
Ariane N. Passaro, 35, of Roscoe, NY, a lifelong area resident, passed away December 30, 2023. Ariane was born February 10, 1988 in Walton, NY. Visitation was held January 3, 2024 at the Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe.
William Howard Purnell, 88, of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Honesdale, PA, passed away December 23, 2023. William was born August 29, 1935 in Snow Hill, MD. Burial will be in the near future at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
Catherine “Cathi” Schouppe, 75, of Milford, PA, passed away December 25, 2023 at home. Catherine was born June 3, 1948 in Sussex, NJ. A service was held January 4, 2024 at the Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford. Final interment will be at the Milford Cemetery.
John “Jack” R. Venter, 88, of Narrowsburg, NY, passed away December 24, 2023. John was born December 28, 1934 in Queens, NY. A memorial service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
