A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, 39 Main St. in Sparrowbush, NY. A private burial of cremains will take place in the family plot at the Quarry Hill Cemetery in Rio, NY.

Ardith Niemann Gorr, 83, of Jeffersonville, NY, passed away December 20, 2023 at the Roscoe Nursing Home in Roscoe, NY.  Ardith was born May 6, 1940. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Stewart Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A gathering will follow at the First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Marilyn Highhouse

Marilyn Highhouse of Honesdale, PA, passed away December 25, 2023 at home. A funeral service was held January 2, 2024 at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Bethany, PA. She is to be interred in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Friends can visit on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery in Honesdale.
