NARROWSBURG, NY — Horns blared and sirens wailed as a Narrowsburg area tradition kicked off once again. Firetrucks, ambulances, tractors and even classic cars moved down Erie Ave. to the excitement of kids and adults alike.
After the tough year of distance and separation, the idea of closeness was on everybody’s mind. The theme of this year’s parade was “better together.” It was apparent as people packed the parade route and those involved smiled and waved from their vehicles.
Following the parade, a takeout chicken barbecue was held at the Narrowsburg Fire Department on Bridge Street.
