MIDDLETOWN, NY — A retrospective of the works of Bruce R. Bleach, titled “Fifty-four Years and Counting,” will be on view in the Orange Hall Gallery at SUNY Orange from Tuesday, September 19 through Friday, November 17; an artist reception will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 5 at the gallery.
Bleach, a graduate of Monticello High School, attended college in Orange County and became a professional artist in 1975.
He holds degrees from SUNY Orange, the University of Hartford and SUNY New Paltz.
He is listed in “Who’s Who in American Art” and his works have appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions, galleries, publications and in many collections.
Since this exhibit is a retrospective, the 70 artworks chosen for display represent the many eras of his art career.
The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
