MONTICELLO, NY — Resorts World Catskills (RWC) has received the 2025 Hudson Valley Community’s Choice Award in the Casino category. The award, which is determined entirely by local community nominations and votes, recognizes the Hudson Valley’s favorite businesses and organizations across more than 140 categories.
The awards highlight “businesses that make the Hudson Valley area stand out and honors those that have made a meaningful impact on the community,” a news release noted.
The casino added that last year, it topped U.S. News & World’s Best Hotels in The Catskills list.
It offers entertainment, and performers already on the docket for 2026 include Colin Jost of “Saturday Night Live,” Theresa Caputo of Lifetime’s “Long Island Medium” and various artists performing at matinee shows through the end of this year.
RWC offers a 100,000-square-foot-plus gaming floor; 10 bar and restaurant options (including celebrity chef Scott Conant’s Italian steakhouse Cellaio); and the 2,500-seat RW Epicenter. In 2023, the casino completed a $40 million, Reese Jones-designed renovation of the 18-hole Monster golf course.
Taxes from Resorts Worlds’ three New York properties have sent more than $4.5 billion to the state’s public education fund, the casino said.
