FOREST CITY, PA — Endless Mountains Heritage Region announced the partnership mini-grants for 2026, including a $4,000 award to the Forest City Borough/Outdoor Town Action Team.
The awardees were selected from 24 applications submitted across EMHR’s four-county service area.
The award to Forest City Borough/Forest City Outdoor Town Action Team supports the placement of the third of five public sculptures designed to connect the D&H Rail Trail with the Forest City community and downtown.
The ongoing project aims to strengthen trail-to-town connections, enhance community identity and encourage increased visitation to the area, the action team said.
The EMHR Partnership Mini-Grant Program supports projects that promote heritage preservation, outdoor recreation, community revitalization and regional collaboration.
“The Forest City sculpture initiative continues to reflect these goals by blending public art, outdoor access and local pride,” the team added.
