The Wayne County Coroner was dispatched at 7:52 a.m. on November 12, 2024 to the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a scooter motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Texas Palmyra Highway (Route 6) and Beach Lake Highway (Route 652).

Wayne County Coroner Edward R. Howell pronounced 70-year-old Kenneth Borzacchini dead at the scene at 08:50 AM. Deputy Coroners Laura Szymanski and Carol Lienert also assisted with this death investigation.

The decedent was Kenneth Borzacchini, 70 of White Mills and was the operator of the scooter Motorcycle.

The cause of death was determined to be blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle collision. 

The investigation is ongoing.
