Update: Glen Spey Missing Child Alert cancelled

Update: In a follow-up alert, the New York State Missing Child Alert on behalf of the Sullivan County Sheriffs Office for Izabella Streno is now cancelled as of 11:50 am on September 30, 2026.

GLEN SPEY — At the request of the Sullivan County Sheriffs Office, a New York State Missing Child Alert has been issued relating to the disappearance of Izabella Streno; age 12; from Glen Spey at 05:58 am on September 30, 2026.

Izabella Streno is a 12-year-old endangered child who may be in need of medical attention. She is with Violet Ruggiero, an 11-year-old missing child who is also believed to be endangered. They were last seen walking on Stefanyk Road in the hamlet of Glen Spy, Sullivan County at 8:15 PM on Tuesday, September 29. Izabella was last seen wearing a pink sweater and jeans. It is unknown what Violet was last seen wearing. They are believed to be in the local area. If seen, call 911 or the Sullivan County Sheriff  at 845/794-7100.
