HONESDALE, PA — Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH) was recently accredited by the Corazon Chest Pain Center.
“This honor reflects the hospital’s outstanding commitment to adhering to societal guidelines and recommendations for cardiac care,” a spokesperson said.
“We couldn’t be prouder of this newly acquired accreditation as a chest pain center,” said Holly Reddock, lead cardiovascular care coordinator. “This achievement underscores our commitment to delivering the highest standard of cardiac care and reflects the dedication of our team to improving patient outcomes.”
Statistics show that timely and effective treatment of chest pain can significantly improve patient outcomes, with early intervention playing a crucial role in reducing the risk of serious complications. Wayne Memorial Hospital, the spokesperson said, focuses on ensuring that patients receive prompt and effective care.
The next accreditation survey is scheduled for August 2026.
