HONESDALE, PA — Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) congratulates the most recent graduates in its National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA) program.
Kim Anderson, Gracie Guarino, Kelly Murphy and Keyley Shaye Robinson were honored at a commencement ceremony on October 30.
WMCHC partners with NIMAA by offering externships, skill labs, free tuition and employment during an eight-month training period. Medical assistants have to pass a certification exam and remain employed by WMCHC for 18 months to qualify.
The new MAs will fill positions within the Honesdale Family Health Center, Highland Physicians Family Health Center and Pike Family Health Center.
