It’s not a gift for the table, but it honors the river that runs through our lives here: T-shirts featuring a map of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River Valley in New York and Pennsylvania, plus the Upper Delaware Council’s (UDC) Land-Water-People partnership logo, offer an attractive, affordable gift for river enthusiasts during the holiday season. The 50/50 heavyweight cotton-blend shirts are royal blue with white screenprinting. The shirts are available in all adult sizes for a $15 donation to support the nonprofit UDC’s mission to conserve the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. Images of the T-shirts are posted online at www.upper delaware council.org.
The UDC also offers map posters, 11 inches by 17 inches, of the Big Eddy Narrows. The map was created by Lisa Glover, and depicts the 113-foot deepest and 200-foot narrowest part of the Delaware River, located in the hamlet of Narrowsburg. Cost is a $20 donation. Learn more about Glover at LisatheMaker.com.
Contact UDC Administrative Support Stephanie Driscoll at 845/252-3022 or stephanie@upperdelawarecouncil.org, or stop by the office at 211 Bridge St. in Narrowsburg, next to the firehouse.
