Holiday Gift Guide 2025

Happy snow day, everyone!
It used to snow by the first week in November. Heck, it used to snow in October. But I’m writing this in mid-November and don’t recall that there’s been snow at this time for a while.
There it is, though, and while not everyone is happy, it feels like the holiday season has started.
And so we’re here with the Holiday Gift Guide for 2025, to help you all start to enjoy the season too.
First off, Benita Goldstein gives us some of the clever crafters you can find at Bethel Woods’ Holiday Market. Check it out, and then be sure to put the market on your to-do list. It’s a way of supporting the arts and the artists here.
On the same subject, Rita Orrell offers tableware created by regional artisans. It’s beautiful work and you’ll find it here (and often online, if the snow keeps you at home).
Don’t forget Small Business Saturday, taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Shopping small is important, especially these days.
Missing a musical accompaniment to your holidays? Liam Mayo to the rescue with a soundtrack that will make you smile.
If you’re feeling bored, we’ve put together a list of events taking place from the Friday after Thanksgiving to the end of the year.
And finally, Greg Triggs and Tusten Youth are on the spot to help those of you who are shopping for teens. What do kids themselves suggest?
Whatever you celebrate, have a wonderful season.
