Stand up for our beautiful towns

Elected officials are supposed to work for us—not data centers.

There is overwhelming agreement among local citizens, who state they do not want data centers in our area; it would seem our town officials shouldn’t even be considering the possibility.

But they are. Why? Who are they really working for? How do they benefit by ignoring their own constituents? What are they getting out of it, while all of us could lose the quality of our natural resources, air, water and peaceful quiet?

Data centers are massive energy-draining and health threats to all of us and to our natural environment. It’s super critical that as many of us stay informed, talk to each other and show up at our local town and township meetings and put pressure on our elected officials and stand up for our beautiful towns based in nature.

The only positive thing about data centers is that they are uniting us, as people from both sides of the political aisle are working together to stop this. Let’s join together in the fight to protect our natural area and our health and strengthen our community in the process.

We can do this!
