Wayne, Pike to vote in municipal, judicial primaries

PENNSYLVANIA — It's election day in Pennsylvania, as voters across the commonwealth go to the polls to make their primary choices.

Municipal primaries in Pennsylvania take place on Tuesday, May 20. Many of the races on the ballot have names written in only for one political party—barring the appearance of an independent candidate, whoever wins the primary for these races will run uncontested for the general election.

Pennsylvania has a closed primary season: Republican voters can vote only for Republican candidates, and Democratic voters can only vote for Democratic candidates.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find specific polling information, click here for Wayne County info and click here for Pike County info.
