WAYNE COUNTY, PA — The Honesdale Area Ministerium recently announced that a $40,000 grant will bring comprehensive case management and direct assistance programs to local residents facing financial hardship and other barriers

The grant was awarded to Susquehanna County Interfaith to support the expansion of Interfaith’s services and case management programs into Wayne County. The investment reflects the ministerium’s commitment to strengthening the network of support available to local residents and working alongside community partners to address the needs of individuals and families facing hardship in the region, the ministerium wrote.

Cindy Beeman, executive director of Interfaith, said, “Interfaith is excited to expand our services in Wayne County and walk alongside individuals, families, other agencies and churches, to find ways to connect and bring help, hope and support where it is needed most.”

Susquehanna County Interfaith, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing help, hope and pathways to stability, will use the funding to connect residents with resources, providing individualized support and partnering with local churches and community organizations to help bridge critical gaps in services.
