MONTICELLO, NY — Despite hazy skies caused by the out-of-control wildfires blazing in our northern neighbors, Colin Kelly had quite the afternoon for himself on Thursday, August 8 at Monticello Raceway.

He competed in all 11 harness races on the packed card, placing four Standardbreds into the winner’s circle.

In Race #4, a one-mile pace with a purse of $4,800, he drove Barrywhite Hanover to victory; in Race #8 (a one-mile pace with a purse of $7,300), he piloted Forza to the winner’s circle.

In Race #9, a one-mile pace with a purse of $4,800, he won with Givenupdreaming; and in the final race of the day (a one-mile pace with a purse of $7,000), he grabbed the coveted brass ring with B Cool Fool.
