My name is Dr. Jenna Lequia, and I am an Assistant Professor at New York Medical College and
Education & Training Researcher at the Westchester Institute for Human Development. I’m
writing to invite you to participate in a brief research study designed to understand experiences of parents and caregivers in New York State as they navigate public school systems to support the learning needs of their gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) children.

Study Details:
  • Who: Parents and caregivers of children in kindergarten through 12th grade who are
formally diagnosed or suspected of being gifted or 2e who reside in New York State.
  • What: An online survey that will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete. All responses
    will be anonymous.
  • Why: To help improve educational experiences for gifted and 2e learners in New York
    State.
