WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, NY — On Sunday, March 15, Pastor Joycalyn Jordan and the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church hosted their annual Scout Sunday service.

Boys and girls from Cub Scout Pack and Scouts BSA Troop 1717 greeted the members, led the Pledge of Allegiance and Scout Law and Oath, were the liturgists, handled the offering and hosted coffee hour afterwards.

Pastor Jordan had a special message geared for the young people.

The annual event is “a highlight on both the Scouts’ and the church’s schedule,” the church said.

The troop is chartered by the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department (WSSFD).
