Peter E. Everson of Saddle Brook, NJ passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Hillsdale and Northvale, NJ, he co-resided in Yulan, NY and Saddle Brook for 30 years. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Name R.C. Church in Garfield. A man who was never idle, he enjoyed antique car shows and spending time with family and friends. Peter will be remembered for always helping people in their time of need.

Mr. Everson was a superintendent and resident manager with the Cloverdale Park Apartments in Saddle Brook for 30 years

Beloved husband of Susan (Terracino) Everson. Loving and devoted father of Tammy La Starza and husband Robert, Sherry Schroedel and husband Matthew, Theresa Conklin and husband Michael and Ann Alcaide and husband Francisco. Dear brother of Dorothy Shafer and husband Rally, Barbara Yanucci, Madeline Hart, Eileen Williams and Bernard Everson and wife Carol. Cherished grandfather of nine and great grandfather of two.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, December 7, 2013, 11 a.m. at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, (201/797-3500). Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
