QEIAHNAH ‘Q’ QUINNLYNN LESTER

Posted

Qeiahnah “Q” Quinnlynn Lester, 15, of Greentown, PA died unexpectedly on Thursday morning, March 28, 2024 at home. She was the beloved daughter of Crystal Beynon of Greentown and Jerry “J.J.” Lester of Equinunk, both of whom survive her.
She was born on August 25, 2008 in Honesdale.

Qeiahnah was a ninth-grade student at Wallenpaupack Area High School. Since childhood, she was a passionate cheerleader; she participated in competitive cheer for several years. Qeiahnah loved the outdoors and could often be found riding four-wheelers, going to car shows and burnout competitions. She had a special place in her heart for animals; she loved chickens, goats and especially Highlander cows. Qeiahnah even formed a loving bond with a fox that often came close enough for her to touch. Whether spending time with her loved ones around a bonfire or playing board games, especially Monopoly, Qeiahnah loved her family. Although we may never understand why her life among us had to be so brief, the powerful gift of Qeiahnah’s love will never keep us apart from her.

Qeiahnah is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Joe Lester Jr. and Atrau Alexander Lester; sisters Taleightha Tatieana Lester and her companion Justin Thomas Miller, and Goldie Siegfried and her companion Leonard Johnson; a niece, Carmella Rose Miller; grandmothers Brenda Beynon and Leana Stanton; aunts and uncles, Caressa and Damien Gregg, Sherry and Harold Hawley, and Casey and Wayne Milk; several cousins; and many beloved friends.

She was also preceded in death by her grandfathers, Gerald L. Lester and Benjamin Beynon.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at The Waymart Church, 596 Honesdale Rd., Waymart, PA with Pastor Sal Maiorana officiating.

Friends can visit on Wednesday, April from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made in Qeiahnah’s memory to The Waymart Church, 596 Honesdale Rd., Waymart, PA 18472. Donations will be directed to help fund suicide prevention and to support family survivors of suicide loss in our local communities.

Inurnment will take place on Thursday in Pine Mill Cemetery.

Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc., Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont St., Waymart, PA 18472. www.HowellFamilyFuneralHome.com.
