NANCY ALICE MOSS

Nancy Alice Moss passed through the Gate of Heaven on Friday, July 1, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born Nancy Alice Wood on February 7, 1958, in Callicoon, NY to the former Florence Day and the late Donald A. Wood, she was a lifelong resident of Abrahamsville, PA and a graduate of Honesdale High School, class of 1976. A family statement reads: “Nancy will be greatly missed and is forever in our hearts.”

Nancy is also survived by husband John Kenneth Moss; children Heather, James, Andrew, and Autumn Moss; grandsons Thomas, Hunter, and Owen Moss; brother Harold Wood and wife Denise; sister Ruth Swendsen; and brothers Raymond Wood and wife Jodi and Ronald Wood and wife Stephanie.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Donald A. Wood.

A remembrance of Nancy’s life took place on Friday, July 8, at the Abrahamsville United Methodist Church, Abrahamsville, followed by a meal at the Lookout Fire Hall.
