Ellen T. Dayka of Glen Spey, NY passed away Wednesday July 6, 2011 at her home. She was 83.

She was born on September 11, 1927 in Norwich, England, the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Carr. Ellen married John T. Dayka, who pre-deceased her.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Dayka of Glen Spey, NY; son John Dayka of New Paltz, NY; grandchildren Anja, Gweneth, Matthew, Christopher and Allison; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Norwich, England.
