All covered with ice and snow,
White Lake becomes a world of white,
a quiet masterpiece painted by winter’s hand,
glowing softly in the pale morning light.
The lake rests beneath a white blanket of snow.
Every breath of cold air
reminds us how beautiful stillness can be a delight
Summer has packed up and moved on,
taking with it the buzz of busy days;
no motorboats humming across the water,
no Jet Skis racing through the magnificent lake.
All that has temporarily faded away.
Only the beautiful site of falling snow to see
and there’s no place else now that I would rather be.
White Lake Homes is quiet now,
The snowbirds who flew south to Florida
may think they’ve escaped the cold,
but they have also missed this magic,
this season of quiet beauty and gold.
For those who own a home here, even seasonal,
and come back for just a few winter days,
the memories settle deep in the heart,
staying long after the snow fades away.
These moments become lifelong treasures,
wonderful memories we will carry forever.
Yes, we love the summers here,
the warm sun, the boats, the lake and pool,
the laughter, the splashing, the endless blue skies,
the season when White Lake feels young and full.
We love the energy, the brightness, the noise,
the long days filled with sunshine and cheer,
but winter brings something different,
something quietly special and sincere.
Winter brings reflection and peace,
soft mornings and star-filled nights,
hot coffee while looking out the window at the snow,
and the aroma of smoke from your neighbor’s fireplace,
with no hurry to go.
It brings time to slow down and breathe,
to feel grateful for simple blessings
in this time finally calm and sound,
In this time there’s nothing here that can be distressing.
Wintertime in White Lake is a gift,
a secret beauty few ever see,
And long after the ice has melted away,
being in White Lake always enhances my day.
