It's true. When your defenses are down, it's harder to discern what is actually happening.
With the bitter cold, the week of ice, and the relentless news of national disruption, it's easy to become tired and triggered.
So here's to the end of February, the hints of spring that will soon be emerging, and the warming energy of the sun.
This morning I was fortunate to regain my balance when I slipped on black ice on the sidewalk.
Counting my blessings. No broken hip today.
