If you’re a voter in New York who is voting by “No Excuse” absentee ballot, or planning to vote during the early voting period (begins October 26), or will vote on the traditional Election Day (November 5), and you do not know what Proposition One is, there’s a reason for that.
The reason is the Democrat-led supermajority in the Senate and the Assembly does not want you to know about it. That’s their plan: don’t tell the people what it would mean for the future of our state and maybe, just maybe, they will vote in favor of it.
The truth is if the voting public was deservingly informed of the actual content of this radical proposition, an overwhelming majority would vote No and hope that the language it contains would never be allowed on any future ballots.
The reason it is even on the ballot is because this would require a state constitutional amendment, not a state law. If it were only a law, it would probably already have passed due to the Democrats’ stronghold in the state legislature. It would be much the same way they shoved through the Safe Act, increasingly dangerous bail reform, the Green Light Law and the Farm Labor Law, even after a resounding disapproval by farmers on the latter.
So what is Proposition One, you ask? To be completely informed, contact your New York State elected representative in both the Senate and the Assembly, but here are just a few of the provisions included in the proposition:
These are only a few of the Democrats’ radical proposals. Of course, they are trying to disguise this as an “equal rights amendment” and to falsely claim that it is about abortion rights, which have been protected in New York since 1970, and are not under any threat of appeal.
Voters in New York, do not be misled. Become informed and vote No on Proposition One. Protect our children; do not let radical elected officials disregard any parental rights. Vote No on Proposition One and protect girls’ sports. Vote No on Proposition One and do not allow your hard-earned tax dollars to fund benefits for undocumented (illegal) immigrants.
Are you still wondering why you do not know much or anything about Proposition One? The Democrats do not want you to know.
