Pike County President Judge Gregory H. Chelak sentenced Heenan to a total sentence of not less than 40 months up to 12 years in a state correctional facility along with a fine of $4,500.00.

According to the affidavit of probable cause supporting the charges, the State Police at the Blooming Grove Barracks received information from a minor, under the age of 18, had received messages from an unknown Instagram user of photos and videos depicting children sexual abuse material.

During the investigation, the State Police served Meta Platforms Inc electronically with a search warrant to obtain more information on the Instagram username.
