While it includes some factual errors—for example, nary a drop of Neversink Reservoir water goes to local residents—its main point is critical.
Potable water is a finite resource. Having your water turn brown or your well run dry is no joke. Neither is E. coli in the water body where you fish, boat or swim.
We need to live within the bounds of physical realities. Given the water issues residents already face, continuing to permit high-density development is simply irresponsible. If left unchecked, decision makers risk killing the goose that laid the golden egg.
